Price (★★★★☆): 4/5
At $14.49 for 30 pieces (as of December 2024), these momos come to just about $0.50 each, which is a solid value, especially considering how well they’re packed. The dumplings are neatly wrapped and have a generous amount of meat filling—something I really appreciate, as some dumplings can be too heavy on filler ingredients like veggies or noodles.

Flavor & Quality (★★★★☆): 4/5
The momos are overall flavorful with a savory, slightly curry-like taste. The filling is well-seasoned and meaty. The sauce packets that come with them are a bit different from what I have gotten momos at restaurants—it is more tomato-based and tangy—but it works well to complement the rich flavor of the dumplings.
The taste varies depending on how you cook them:
Steamed: When steamed, the dumpling wrappers turn a bit gummy, which can overshadow the delicious filling. While the meat is juicy and flavorful, the texture of the wrapper doesn’t work for me in this method.

Pan-Fried: This is my favorite cooking method for these momos! Pan-frying gives the bottom a crispy, golden crunch while keeping the top soft and steamed, with less of that gummy texture. The flavor really shines, and the contrast between the crispy bottom and juicy filling makes for a much more enjoyable bite.

Air-Fried: I followed the air-frying instructions on the back of the packaging exactly, but my dumplings ended up bursting open during the process. As a result, the juices leaked out, leaving them less juicy and slightly dry. The wrappers also had a stale-like crunch, which is typical when air-frying certain things. Because of these issues, this method is a sad no from me.

Ease of Preparation (★★★★☆): 4/5
The cooking instructions offer three options: steaming, pan-frying, and air-frying. Steaming and pan-frying are straightforward and give good results, though air-frying didn’t go as smoothly for me. Despite that, I like how I am able to try and enjoy these momos in different ways.
I really appreciated how they included multiple individually portioned sauce packets in the bag. Thawing the sauce is simple—you just boil the sealed packets in water, which is super convenient. Personally, I’m not a fan of heating plastic, so I opt to open the packets and microwave the sauce in a microwave-safe bowl instead. Either way, it’s a thoughtful touch that makes the whole process much easier and more hassle-free.
Summary:
Conclusion:
Overall, these momos offer great value considering the quality and flavor, especially for a frozen product. They’re a tasty, convenient option that doesn’t compromise on taste, making them a solid choice for a quick snack or meal.
