Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies
Simple roll-and-slice cream cheese sugar cookies.

- 100 g unsalted butter
- 100 g cream cheese
- 75 g granulated sugar
- 25 g egg (~half an egg)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 210 g all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- pinch salt
Cream together butter, cream cheese and sugar. Add in egg and vanilla extract and mix until light and fluffy.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt together. Fold and mix into the butter mixture until a crumbly dough forms. Transfer to plastic wrap and form into a solid log. Wrap and refrigerate overnight or for about 4 hours.
Preheat oven to 350F. Slice the cookie log into 1/4 inch pieces and place it on a parchment lined baking tray. Bake for about 15 minutes or until the edges just starts to lightly brown.
