Brown Sugar Lace Crisps

These brown sugar lace crisps are an effortless way to elevate the appearance of desserts visually. In addition, they provide a delicate, thin, crisp texture that is texturally delightful when paired with soft or creamy desserts. Put them on top of cakes, tarts, ice cream and more!

  • 56 g unsalted butter
  • 50 g light brown sugar
  • 30 g all purpose flour
  • pinch salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350F
  • Melt the butter and mix in the brown sugar until well combined. Next, add the flour and stir until fully incorporated.
  • Using a 1/2 teaspoon, scoop out the batter and roll it into balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with a silicone baking mat. Repeat until all the batter is used.

  • Bake the lace crisps for 5-7 minutes, keeping a close eye on them and rotating the baking sheet as needed for even cooking.
  • Once they're done, allow the lace crisps to cool completely on the baking sheet. Then, use a thin offset spatula or knife to gently lift them off the baking mat.
  • Store the cooled crisps in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
