Price (★★★★☆): As of summer 2023, the roast beef sandwich stands as the latest addition to the Costco food court menu. Price at $9.99 per sandwich, it is definitely a premium item that stands out starkly against the other sub-5 dollar menu items. To be honest, I was a little hesitant to purchase the item because of this, but when considering the prices of roast beef sandwiches at delis nowadays, at this price point, it is still more affordable.

Quality & Taste (★★★★☆): The sliced roast beef is tender, juicy, and well-seasoned. It is paired with roasted cherry tomatoes, lettuce, red onions, and onion relish. All this is sandwiched between Costco ciabatta bread smeared with a mustard-mayo spread. Apart from the sandwich being very bready, everything complemented each other well in the sandwich. It also feels like a healthier option compared to the other items on the Costco food court menu.

Summary (★★★★☆): Overall, the sandwich was flavorful and tasted higher quality and fresh. I would definitely get it again! My only gripe is that the sandwich is very bready– if a different type of bread was used– like sliced sandwich bread– the sandwich would be better balanced.
